With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verda Volk (Durant, Oklahoma), born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Larken Bruce and Alta Mae Stricklen; her husband Ardo Rochow Volk; her siblings, Franklin Bruce of Robert Bruce, A. V, Helen LeFeaver, Vera Clemens and Evelyn Smith of Durant, OK; her son Charles Henry Volk II (Andrea) of Long Grove, IA; her grandchildren, Irina Christine Volk of Camp Pendleton, CA and William Alexander Volk; and her great grandchild Hazel Lynn Wolf.
