He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Moody (Goolsby) and John Kenneth Moody; his son Mark; and his siblings, Peggy, Glenda and Dale.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew (Elizabeth) and Jeffrey; and his sister Leta Whitaker (Charlie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to AFSP.org in memory of Steve's son, Mark Christian Moody.
