It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheriff Johnny Christian (Durant, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Johnny William; and his son Jon Houston Christian. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Christian; his sons, Jake Christian, Josh Christian (Lacy) and Kimo Puana (Elisha); his grandchildren, Jace Christian, Donovan Ellis, Jetson Christian, Aria Puana, Asher Puana and Eli Puana; his siblings, Michael "Moe" Christian (Veda) of Milburn, OK and Elizabeth McIver (Roger) of Blair, OK.; and his nephew Michael Christian of Atoka, OK.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 3702 Choctaw Rd, Durant, OK 74701. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
