We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sandra Stevens Ives of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Teague, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her son Richard Steven; her daughter-in-law Jody Brown of Buffalo, N. Y.; her daughter Michelle Husband of Broken Arrow, OK; her grandsons, Adam Lynch of Slidell, LA. and Chris Kopecky of Broken Arrow, OK; her great grandchild Kaia Ruddell-Lynch of Riva; her daughters, Ruth Ives and Molly Ives Brower of Tulsa; her son-in-law Stewart; her grandchild Robyn; her daughter Barbara Ives of Rostrevor; her sister Sharon; her brother-in-law Gary Wright of Stillwater, OK; and her nieces and nephews, David, Christy Wright of Rolla, MO and Blake Wright of Stillwater, OK.
Sandy remained at Primrose, continuing to participate in Renegade Writers and attending meetings of the Stillwater Pi Phi Alumnae Club, as well as her Saturday coffee group, until Covid19 changed the life of the nation. In November of 2020, at age 90 and before a vaccine became available, Sandy was hospitalized with the Coronavirus.
