He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Stevenson and Estella Thompson Stevenson; and his siblings, Marvin, James, Onsby, Berniece, Clementine, Argerene, Florence and Dorothy.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Jewel Stevenson; his children, Author Ray, Lamarr (Gabriele), Randy, Tarence (Amber), Joyce, Medina, Rosalyn, Beverly, Sandra (Greg), Angelia (Gary) and Sharhonda Stevenson (Mindy); and his siblings, Estelle, Reta Jo, Ora Lee, Leonard and Otis (Patty). He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
