It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Lee Burns of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Luther and Velma Lorena Burns (Fulcher); his parents-in-law, David and Marie Quarles; his brother Jason; and his sister-in-law Darla Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Faye Quarles; his daughter Robin Anderson (Mike) of Durant; his grandchildren, David Ford Anderson (Lesley) of Fort Worth, Bailey L. Hayes (Garrett) of Durant and Reilly K. Cates (Southern) of Van Alstyne, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Haisley Faye Hayes, Heath Noble Hayes, Ronni Cardelle Anderson and Baby Cates; his sisters, Patricia Harder (Jim) of Euless and Wanda Peebles of Boshier City; and his sister-in-law Sherry Graham of Durant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Durant Church of Christ.
