It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sample (Durant, Oklahoma), born in Bennington, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sample and Christine Sample (Williams); and his siblings, Dahlila Houston, Mary Ellen Wall, Harmon Sample and Johnny Mack Sample.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Murillo (Rick) of Fort Worth and Jessica Porter (Jason) of Grand Prairie; his siblings, Donald Sample (Evelyn) of Irving and Patsy Peavler (Pete) of Irving; his niece Tiffany Tarr (Brent) of Irving, Texas.; his grandchildren, Anthony Porter (Liv) of Dallas, Gabe Murillo, Liz of Crowley, Isabella Porter of Grand Prairie, Alex Murillo of Fort Worth, Sam Murillo of Fort Worth, Jenna Murillo of Fort Worth and Lance Porter of Grand Prairie; and his great grandchildren, Noah Alanis and Lalo Murillo.
