He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nicholson; his children, Richard Choate and Shawna Rowland; his sister Mary Choate; his grandchildren, Alex Rowland, Sydney Rowland, Kasie Choate, Nic Choate and Tyler Heckler; and his great grandchildren, Willow Rowland and Xander Rowland.
