He is survived by: his grandson Colton; his wife Kristy Kay Payne (Savage); his children, Sherrie Karmann of Fort Worth, Jodi Canahaute (Eddie) of Apopka, April Payne, Michelle Amlin (John) of Mead, Oklahoma, Paul Joseph Payne II of Durant and Tony Vandenburg of Calera, Oklahoma; and his brothers, Lawrence Payne of Enid and Ralph Payne of Enid. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
