He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lawson and Bernice Lawson (Reid); and his brother Jimmy Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lawson; and his sisters, Ruthy Haworth of Savannah and Kay Smith (Jimmy) of Duncan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and the multitude of friends.
