She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Arthur and Nora Bain Thornton (Winsett); her husband Tom Brown; her son Rex Leon Brown; her brother Doyle Thornton; and her sister-in-law Verda Thornton.
She is survived by: her daughter Yolanda Bristow (Brad) of Durant, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Holly Ann Marcy (John) of Durant, Brandy Ayriss (Matt) of Arvada, Jennifer Wilcox (Shane) of Durant and Scotty Sieber (Emily) of Austin, Texas; her great grandchild Valorie Taylor of Durant, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Ayriss, Tori Ayriss, Joshlyn Ayriss, Emarie Wilcox and Ander Wilcox; and her brothers, Alvie Thornton (Shirley) of Durant, Leonard Thornton (Cathy) of Indianola and Darell Thornton (Verda) of Durant. She is also survived by other numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
