It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Dean Cloyd of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Wann, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cloyd Sr. and Ruby Basham Cloyd; his siblings, Donald, Bob, John, Edward, Bert Jr., Audett Kemp, Margie Dickerson and Bettye LaGrand; and his son Larry Dean Cloyd.
He is survived by: his nieces, Kathy Reid (Joe) and Teresa Edwards (Harvey); and his brother Benny Holt (Betty).
