He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Morgan and Louise Morgan (Harris); and his sisters, Mary Ann Morgan and Ruth Ann Marlin. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Leiann Bahe (Tim), Layne Morgan (Pam) and Leslie Prentice (Walter); his grandchildren, Dillon Bahe, Madison Bahe, Alysse Bollier, Ashley Morgan, Melisse Prentice, Katheryn Warren and Kaitlyn Prentice; and his great grandchildren, Amber Bahe, Hally Bollier, Brody Warren, Bentlee Warren, Addison Warren and Winston Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that any memorials on behalf of Leonard Morgan be given to First Baptist Church of Durant, designated for the Southeastern State University BCM Building Project on the Southeastern State University Campus.
