It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Townsend (Durant, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 26, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Townsend and Lola Green; his wife Doris; and his siblings, John and Nell Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Townsend (Donna) of Durant and Linda Behrens (Ed) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Brian Townsend (Jordan) of Durant and Crystal Leybas (Ian) of McAlester; his great grandchildren, Tatum Townsend of Durant, Finlee June Townsend of Durant, Kaylee Leybas of McAlester and Cole Leybas of McAlester; and his sister Lena Greer of Tulsa.
