It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaWanda Medlock Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Maud, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Rufus (Doug) and Euvle Faye LaFevers Medlock (Cindy); her siblings, Joan Bailey, Joyce Lockwood and LeNeta Dodd (Bobby Jack Smith); and her son Jon Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Jack Smith; her son Tim Smith (Gina) of Durant; and her grandchildren, CeCelia Coppedge, Jake Smith and Josh Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations in LaWanda's memory be made to the Milburn First Baptist Church, Box 277, Milburn, OK 73450.
