He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Houston Armstrong and Willie Myrtle Armstrong (Broadrick); his siblings, Blanche Williams, Bobbie Stillwell, Ethel Peters, Midge Ellis and Dick Armstrong; and his close friend Hawkeye Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his son Doug Armstrong of Durant; and his siblings, Sammy Beshirs and Kenneth Armstrong of Foruna, CA.
