She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Andrew Kirby and Esther Mae Kirby-Richardson (Harmon); her husband Jerry Conrad Emerson; her children, Terry Joe Emerson and Mary Ann Emerson; her siblings, Leroy Kirby, Jimmy Kirby, Billy Kirby and Donella Hatfield; her grandson Keith Hendrix; and her son-in-law Charles Sprowl.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Sprowl of Howe, TX, Bruce Emerson (Darla) of Durant, OK and Pam Rummell (Robert) of Durant, OK; and her brother Donald Yates of Van Alystne, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
