With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Godbey (Durant, Oklahoma), born in Denison, Texas, who passed away on August 4, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miles and Iva Pearl Godbey (Stapp); his former wife Diana Kay Godbey (Caraway); and his siblings, Jerry Lewis Godbey, David Ray Godbey Sr., Tommy Godbey, Frankie Pruitt, Barbara Higgins, Vera Farris and Pam Belgard.

He is survived by: his wife Callan Godbey of Durant, OK; his sons, Robert "Bobby" Godbey (Nancy) of Denison, TX and James "Jimmy" Godbey (Jennifer) of Denison, TX; and his grandchildren, Miles Godbey, Makayla Godbey, Colby Ball, Kerra Ball, Colton Ball, Jacob Godbey and Jolie Godbey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
