It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Toler (Durant, Oklahoma), born in Bay Springs, Mississippi, who passed away on March 12, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Les (Sue). She is survived by: her daughter DeeDee Pena; her spouse Edward Lester Toler Jr; her children, Edward Lester Toler III, DeNanette Dale (DeeDee) and Gregory Dale; her sister Tommie Jean (James Kilgore) of Meridian, MS; her son-in-law Dennis; her son Greg; her daughter-in-law Donna; her grandchildren, Velda Barr of Midland, TX, Joann Toler of Abilene, TX, Karissa (Chad Smith) of Granbury, TX, Jimmy Pena (Rebecca), Landon (Staci) of Durant, OK, April Toler, Shawn (Shelly) and Joan; and also, Daughter and DeeDee. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.
Joan Smith Toler went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 12, 2018 after an extremely frustrating battle with Alzheimer's.
