He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Earl Ervin Jr. and Jewel Edna Ervin (Stevens). He is survived by: his wife Linda Elaine Ervin (Gray); his son Nicholas Scott Ervin; and his siblings, Faye Dunegan, Eurith Ellis, Geneva "Rae" Farrell and Kenneth Ervin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Jessie's final expenses.
