It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Currence of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife JoAnn Currence; his brother Elwood Earl Currence; and his parents, Earl Currence and Cecil Currence. He is survived by: his children, Mande Sue and Kurt; his wife Pat Currence of Durant; his children-in-law, Clint Marcum of Durant, Faith Currence of Durant and Mike Cook of Durant; his grandson Taylor Marcum (Heather Marcum); his great grandchildren, Beau and Brooks Marcum of Durant; and his granddaughter Chelsea (Daniel Wallace) of Tulsa, Oklahoma..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association or the American Heart Association in Jerry's memory.
