Jane Pierson Obituary
We bid farewell to Jane Pierson of Durant, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Dollar (Neely) and Vernon Dollar; her former husbands, Gaines Babb, Terry Boyer and Jay Ross Pierson; her grandson Casey Sparks; and her siblings, Dewayne Dollar, Tommy Dollar, Bobby Dollar of Larry Dollar, A. V, Doug Dollar, Maridel Hendrick and Judy West.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gaina JoAnn Finley (Gregg Flynn), Amanda Boyer of Durant and Kim Elsom (Gregg) of Silo, Oklahoma; her siblings, Melba Moore of Arlington, Janice Carter of Austin, Rhoena Bass of Dallas, Texas and Nathan Dollar of Calera, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Bailey Nelson (Mary), Logan Jamison, Cameron Jamison, Blake Jamison, Destiny Perez (Joe), Logan Flynn and Bryan Flynn; her great grandchildren, Kallie, Elizabeth, Ayce, Jett, Beau and Nate; and her great great grandchild Olivia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Home (221 N 3rd Ave, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cornerstone Chapel (501 NE 4th Ave, Durant, OK 74701).
