He was predeceased by: his parents, Paskel Stephens and Myrtle Stephens (Gibson); and his siblings, Kay Headrick, Lillie Hobbs and Don Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Pair; his children, James W. Stephens of Durant, OK, Terry Stephens (Angie) of Durant, OK, Billy Stephens (Sherry) of Durant, OK, Michael Stephens (Soni) of Durant, OK, Lisa Waggoner (Jim) of Cameron, MO and Tasha Cummins (Dillon) of Durant, OK; and his grandchildren, Brandon Stephens, Dana Mason, Ashley Stephens, Courtney Henson, Peyton Stephens, Malachi Stephens, Justin Stephens, Spencer Stephens, Hunter Stephens, Brittany Doshier, Morgan Waggoner, Addilyn Piper, Gracelyn Piper, Jamison Cummins and Justin Wayne Anzaldua. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
