It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Granger of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Atoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Granger and Lela Granger (Hight); his wife Hazel LaRue Granger (Prater); his son James Gary Granger (Tina); his brothers, William "Bill" and Dale Granger; and his half-sisters, Lovina Blackburn and Lucille Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Ward (Keith), Pam Lindsey (Richard) and Bart Granger (Annette); his grandchildren, Kelly Ward, Chris Ward, Stefanie Morgan (Chris), Todd Lindsey, Corey Granger, Lauren Martin (Mitch), Ashley Granger and Abbigail Mitchell (Coy); and his brother Arthur Granger (Louise). He is also survived by great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
