James Avery Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Avery of Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son James Werner Avery; and his parents, Mary Kinnaird and James Wilson Avery. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Avery; his sons, Rodger Avery (Brenda Avery) and Jason Avery (Patsy Avery); his grandchild Kelley Weir (Kurt Weir); and his siblings, Dan Avery and Elizabeth Johnson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
