We bid farewell to Irene Jeanette Mowles (Durant, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2024 at the age of 74. Irene Jeanette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Suther Bruner; her son Gregory Suther Mowles; her grandson Terrance O'Banyon Mowles; her mother Cora Mae Lowe (Red); her children, Monica Mowles-Terrell of Durant, Denise Stewart (Sonny) of Fort Towson, Jerry Mowles (Leslie) of Durant and Camille Wood (Nico) of Enid; her grandchildren, Suther Mowles (Cammi) of Calera, Sonny Stewart Jr. of Fort Towson, Dillon Stewart (Kayla) of Guymon, Ginavee Freeman (Bronson) of Bennington, Savannah Terrell of Durant, Kyla Troy of Enid, Kaiden Troy of Enid, Ethan Mowles of Durant and Packard Mowles of Durant; her great grandchildren, Kirit Stewart, Kylley Freeman, Mahaya Mowles, Judah Mowles and Axton Freeman; and her sisters, Lucinda Barnett of Okmulgee and Dora Neconish of Holdenville.
She is survived by: her close friends, Jerry Mowles Sr. of Durant, Whitney Stone (Justin) and Carrie Ramey of Durant; and also, Blaise and Sophie of Midwest City.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
