He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Harlin, Jr. and Pauline Harlin (Harrison); his former wife Joyce Harlin; his sister Carol Jackson; his in-laws, Arvel and Lura Peoples; his siblings-in-law, Joe Purkins, Ray Jackson, Wayne Black of Al Melson, A. L, Bowen, Gene Black, Larry Proctor, Eldon Jones, Nell Jones and Irene Black; and his stepgrandchild Baby Tony.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Harlin of Silo, Oklahoma; his sons, Steve Harlin (Sherry) of Durant and Stuart Harlin of Durant, Oklahoma; his stepdaughters, Sonya Davis of Silo, Tammie Harris (Tommie) of Bonham and Paula Williamson (Tom) of Sherwood, Arkansas; his sisters, Georgeanna Black of Midlothian, Kathryn Melson of Houston and Betty Bowen of Silo, Oklahoma; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Black of Forney, Texas, Billie Robinson (Donald) and Betty Proctor of Silo, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home (121 N 5th Ave, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silo Baptist Church (1379 Church Rd, Durant, OK 74701). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
