She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Adams and Lucy Adams (Higginbotham); her daughters, Charlotte Brese and Marglo Carroll; and her sister Patsy Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Newman Clemens (Jerry) of Quanah, TX and Douglas Brese (Rebecca) of Bokchito; and her grandsons, Timothy Brese, Brett, Brandon Nelson, Seth and Oaklyn Scott.
