It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Converse of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Leonard Awtry and Eva Lee Awtry Bolding (Williams); her son Kenny Converse; her sister Linda Gills; her stepfather Louis A. Bolding; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Converse.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Converse, Sr.; her sons, Frank Converse, Jr. of Utica and Mike Converse (Tonya) of Glover; her siblings, Leonard Awtry (Katy) of Blossom, Barbara Hamill of Sumner, Bob Awtry of Hugo and Louis Bolding (CJ) of West Burlington; her grandchildren, Eric, Todd, Toni, Matt, Macy, Collin, Colton and Darci; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Kylan, Ava, Ellie, Mackenzie, Hayden, Addisen, Layla, Aidan, Bella, Oliver and Otto.
