He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal Scott and Ester Scott Sr. (Nickerson); his wife Cynthia Ann Pearson; and his siblings, Mary Finney, Cleaester Phifer, Loyal Scott Jr. and William Scott.

He is survived by: his children, Kenney Scott (Shelly) and Tiffany Scott; his grandchildren, Kristian Scott, Alexis Scott, Reece Scott and Greyson Brumley; and his siblings, Gloria Boxton, Lee Scott and Lawrence Scott.
