He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hamby and Rose Hamby of Yuba, OK; and his siblings, Glen Hamby (Wink), Billy Joe Hamby, Norman Hamby (Jip), Rosanne Johnson, Juanita Miller and Louise Murphey.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Hamby Stephens (Vernon) of Yuba, OK and Ricky Hamby of Yuba, OK.; his wife Glenda Mae Ervin Hamby of Yuba, OK; his granddaughters, Abby Rattan (Tyler) of Bonham and Kaytlyn Ashlock (Austin) of Ravenna; his great grandchildren, Tucker Rattan, Maverick Rattan and Andi Kayt Ashlock; and his sister Doris Durham (Perry) of Bonham.

During this time the family asks that social distancing and facial coverings be worn for the respect and safety of all who attend.
