He is survived by: his father Alvin Anthony Scott (Janice) of Houma, LA; his wife Vickie Howe of Durant; his son Chris Scott (Gabby) of Durant; his grandchildren, Bailey, Ryder, Reagan, Jaxon and Tina; his daughter Tarah Percell (Matt) of Durant; his grandchildren, Gracelynn, Elaina and Jordyn; his mother Debbie Evans (Rodney) of Durant; his brother Jamie Scott (Terri) of Houma, LA; his nieces and nephews, Hillary, Caleb and Addison; his sister Dodie Scott (Kevin) of Houma, LA; his nieces and nephews, Mimi, Ethan and JJ; his sister Kim Shields (Pork) of Durant; his nieces and nephews, Racey and Landon; his sister Robin Grant (Charlie) of Anna, TX; his sister Hope LeBouf of Houma, LA; his nieces and nephews, Drake (Ginny), Blake and Savannah; his stepmother Bella Cantrell; his stepsiblings, Shana Pelegrin of Houma, LA and Yancy Bourg (Sherree) of Houma, LA; his sister-in-law Teresa Robinson (Jackie); his nieces and nephews, Jerry (Brittany), Joey (Tabitha) and Kaci; his siblings-in-law, Julie Batchelor (Tim) and George Howe; his niece Marie; and also, Sydney, Mason, Emily, Caine, Tobi, Grayson, Cali, Ross, Jack, Madison and Logan. He is also survived by other extended family members and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in honor of Earnest to Good Deal Thrift Store located at 401 N. 1st St. in Durant.
