Duane Thomas Lindly Obituary

We bid farewell to Duane Thomas Lindly (Durant, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Duane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chaves E. Lindly and Cecile M. Lindly; and his brother Richard Lindly. He is survived by: his sons, Jay Chaves and Jon Allen; his siblings, Youlynda Box, Durynda Bachelor, Belinda Boucher and Mark Lindly; the mother of his children Anita Johnson; his grandson Thomas Jay Lindly; and his goddaughter Chelsea Burns.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Boswell High School (604 7th St, Boswell, OK 74727). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Joe Slater Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Duane's memory to Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
