It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie Lane (Durant, Oklahoma), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scoggins and Annie Scoggins; her siblings, Coy Scoggins, Ruby Scoggins Suter, Troy Scoggins and Opal Scoggins Creech; her husband James L. Lane; her son James Michael Lane; and her grandson Cody Wheeler.
She is survived by: her brother Wayne Scoggins (Bonnie) of Norman, OK.; her daughters, Karen Lane Wheeler (Terry Cole) of Durant, OK. and Donna Lane Talley (Willis Talley) of Kansas City, MO.; her grandchildren, Kristy, Brandon, Matt, Chad, Ashley and Kristen; her close friend Penny Perkins of Hurst, TX.; and her sisters, Florine Draper, Glenda Nicholson, Barbara Payne and Paula Lane.
