He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Murray (Isias Durant); his brothers, Leonard Thornton (Cathy) of Indianola and Alvie Thornton (Shirley) of Durant, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Ashley Wood (Tom) of Florida, Cassaundra Meade (Brandon Farmer) of Durant, Shelby Northcott (Aaron Stidham) of Sherman, Zaylee Meade of Durant, Oklahoma, Mathayus Durant of Durant, David Robinson of Durant and Joshua Thornton (Kassitty) of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Zadyn Meade, Jack Wood and Lincoln Farmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
