She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ella Maze (Lankford) and Cecil Lee Maze; and her brother David Lee Maze. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Kampplain of Durant; and her pet Ella Bella of Durant.

The Durant Jay-Cees, a Board member of Bryan County RSVP, member of Gama Psi/Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Bryan County Master Gardener, and also served as secretary for Hickory Hollow Rod and Gun Club.
