It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecille Kampplain of Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ella Maze (Lankford) and Cecil Lee Maze; and her brother David Lee Maze. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Kampplain of Durant; and her pet Ella Bella of Durant.

The Durant Jay-Cees, a Board member of Bryan County RSVP, member of Gama Psi/Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Bryan County Master Gardener, and also served as secretary for Hickory Hollow Rod and Gun Club.
