He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessie Louise Strombitski (Oakes) and John William Strombitski; his wife Mary Ann Strombitski (Stephenson) of Durant; his daughter Carla Nejad (Sam) of Lone Tree, Colorado; his brother Terrence John Strombitski (Marianne) of Gallitin, Tennessee; his brother-in-law David Stephenson (Rita); and his nieces, Catherine Schuster and Terrianne Medina. He was also cherished by several great nieces and a great nephew.
