He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gorge Bowdre and Annie Ruth Bowdre; his siblings, Bob Bowdre and Shirley Teawillyer; and his mother-in-law Sheila Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Johnson and Emanuel Johnson; and his brothers, Terry Bowdre and Mike Bowdre. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
