He was predeceased by: his sons, Larry Cross and Bobby Broussard; and his grandson Avery Foreman. He is survived by: his children, Julie Foreman, Alvin Sheffield Jr. (Lucy), Angela Buchanan (Mary), April Bishop (Bo), Lila Ford (Tobie) and Shanon Cross; his grandchildren, Colley, Robbie, Rainnie, MaKenzie, Samantha, Gus, Cooper, Dustn, Angela, Emylee, Carson, Cooper C., Bryce, Elijah, Seth, Remington, Hunter, Micheal, Steven, Corey and Kaitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Liam, Caylee, Tyson, Braxton, MaKenzi, Laynee, Hunter, Charleigh, Carlee of Troy, LJ and Dale.
