With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Sue Cook (Duncan, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Vermaire and Phyllis Ann Vermaire; and her sister Kristi. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Vermaire, David Proctor II, Concetta Cline (David), Anthony Vermaire (Victoria) and Stephanio Elser; her grandchildren, DeAndre, Case, Mikella, Shakeema, Stephanie, Jay, Lucien, Destiny, Justice, Zach, Donald, Jemma and Justin; her great grandchildren, Preslee and Uriah; and her siblings, Maryjo, Cathy, Mark and Brian.
With the aid of LifeShare, she was able to extend that hand one last time by donating her kidneys, liver, and tissue to donor recipients.
