He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Odney Smith (Kent); his daughter Danica Montalvo; and his siblings, Leon Smith, Raymond Smith, Wanda Childress and Pat Means.
He is survived by: his father Richard Smith; his wife Kay Lawson; his son Blake Smith (Kendra); his grandchildren, Kolin Smith, Parker Smith and Gabby Smith; and his sister Sue Sartin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church West (380 S 42nd St, Duncan, OK 73533). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
