James left this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Eva Mae "Durrett" Beene; his wife Bernice; his sister Jessie Mae Welch; and his daughters-in-law, Debra Ann Beene and Paula Kaye Beene.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Beene of Comanche and Rusty Beene of Seminole; his grandchildren, Brandon, Sara Beene, Blaine and Labeth Beene; and his sons, Cassie Beene, Lindsey Hughey, Callie and Cade Thronebury. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Duncan Cemetery (1604 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
