He is survived by: his children, Russell Dean Mitchell Jr. (Alycia) of Glencoe, Donna K. Mitchell of Edmond and Dyanne Rich (Allen) of Yale; his siblings, Marvin Mitchell of Big Lake, Kathryn Crozier (Jimmy) of El Dorado, OK, Lois Chick of Buffalo and Delores Tyson of Quanah; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Richardson (Jessie) of Yale, Pamela C. Pollard of Hallett and Billie Denise Heird (Randy) of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
