We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 77, Michael Charles Mitchell of Drumright, Oklahoma, born in Bristow, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Eugene and Mary Claire Mitchell (Lewis). He is survived by: his wife Karen Jean Mitchell; his son Jason Mitchell (Melissa); his grandson Cohen of Yukon; his daughter Lindsay Risley (Clay); his grandson Jett of Prague; his stepdaughter Jennifer Ullrich (Don); his grandchildren, Joshua Atwell, Jacqueline Ullrich and Jacob Ullrich of Oxnard, CA; his stepson Jason Kimball; his grandson Luke Kimball of Seattle, WA; his brother Don Mitchell (Judith) of Stillwater; and also, Joan Mitchell of Drumright and Shirley Mitchell of Yukon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Matthew's Funeral Home (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (900 S Littler Ave, Edmond, OK 73034). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Gracelawn Cemetery (1407 North Blvd, Edmond, OK 73003).
