He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Lilly Thompson (Foreman); his wife Zelma White; his son Rick Thompson; his stepchildren, Wade White, Vickie Lacy and Virginia Reidl; and his siblings, Watie, Bill, Norie Payton, Jewell Philpot, Imogene Powell, Mildred Elmore, Naimi Hastings and Keet Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Cody Thompson of Cushing, Jerry Thompson of Kansas and Summer Eastman.
