He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ledgerwood and Thelma Ledgerwood (Orton); his siblings, Dixie Preston and John W. Ledgerwood; and his nephew Doug Ledgerwood.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Ronnie Preston, Kathy Ledgerwood Naifeh (Joe), Johnnie Sue Ledgerwood Rowland and Mike Ledgerwood (Barbara); and his cousin Elmer Ledgerwood.
