He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Ray and William Hardin Ray; and his wife Ruby Anita Ray. He is survived by: his children, Virginia Ray, Katie Anderson (Steve), Billijane Makinson (Ken) and Elizabeth Ray (Mike); his grandchildren, Emily Anderson and Hilary Tardif; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Rose Murphy, Wilder Tardif and Asher Tardif. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
