He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Blakley and Violette Blakley (Dunn); and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his nieces, Abbey and Audra; his nephew Abel Blakley; his godson James Semrad; his close friends, Ryan and Eric Koehn; and his goddaughters, Marie Bond, Lora Maly and Kaley Hartung.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to the Ruts on the Santa Fe Trail Museum.
