He was predeceased by: his father Esteban "Lou" Vargas; his spouse Phyliss Davis; and his sister JoLena Jordan (Phyliss Davis). He is survived by: his mother Jean Vargas (Reid); his siblings, Esteban Vargas II (Tara) and Lisa Vargas Brown; and his close friend Jackie Davis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel (113 S Osage Ave, Dewey, OK 74029). A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (400 W 9th St, Dewey, OK 74029).
